Welcome to Coonara Kennels Website
We are a small kennel established in 1981 when I purchased my first Chihuahua Tammi. Initially I showed and bred this lovely breed, but my heart was really with the St Bernard. Purchasing our first St Bernard in 1992. We have remained small as a kennel dedicating our time to the continued improvement of the breed by importing numerous dogs and bitches.
Living on acres north west of Melbourne our dogs are part of the family and are raised in a family environment. Only breeding occasionally when we would like a puppy to go on with in the show ring. While we are proud of our dogs achievements, and all our dogs are our content companions at home.
